A. Marie Colón, CEO of Harlin Construction founded the company in 2020 bringing valuable construction and real estate experience to the organization. Prior to this she has served in a variety of roles in the corporate world in the real estate development, construction and building services industries as well as serving as a sales and marketing professional. Mrs. Colón and her husband of 15 years share 2 children together and currently reside in Celina, TX. Harlin Construction is proud to serve property management companies (and property managers), both residential and commercial, self-managed homeowner associations (HOAs) and real estate portfolio owners across the DFW Metroplex and Greater Nashville areas. The company has completed 100's of projects in many facets of rebuild and repair construction having garnered the trust and confidence of each client we have served. Our value is in our reliability, workmanship, professionalism and exquisite attention to detail. Harlin Construction has been a member of CAI since 2023 and is proud to be a woman and minority owned and operated company.

LisaKay Gurney, Director of Strategic Partnerships
LisaKay Gurney joined the organization in 2026 as Director of Strategic Partnerships, where she focuses on building and strengthening long-term relationships that support organizational growth and community impact. She brings a strong commitment to service and collaboration, with a professional focus on developing meaningful partnerships that align with mission-driven goals.
Outside of her professional role, LisaKay is an active philanthropist who dedicates her time to supporting charitable causes, with a particular passion for giving back to veterans and veteran-focused initiatives. She is married and enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.

Shawna Schmidt, Director of Operations (Greater Nashville)
Shawna Schmidt joined Harlin Construction in 2025, leveraging over two decades of a hospitality experience with a strong background and operations management process, improvement and team development. Shawna plays a key role in driving, efficiency, accountability, and service excellence across the organization. Her hospitality-driven approach ensures a high standard of communication, responsiveness and client satisfaction, supporting Harlin constructions, commitment to reliable professional service for HOA and commercial/residential property management partners. Shawna and her husband, along with 4 children and 3 beloved dogs reside in the Nashville, TN area.
